Digital Storytelling

Central Nervous System

...the hub of all things

Web design

I collaborate with clients to make websites that reflect their industry and focus on their target audience. I'm a front end developer who likes writing HTML, CSS and Javascript. I think it's fun to work in a CMS, keep up with SEO best practices, Google Analytics and e-commerce. My specialities are websites for artists, museums and creative thinkers but passionate small business owners are a favorite too.

I have spent most all of my adult life as an image maker. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are in photography and I was a professor of photo for many years. I am trained in digital, traditional and alternative processes. I love making images.

Live Creative Blog

I'm an idea factory. I'm always exploring new things and perfecting old skills. If I could have a superhuman power it would be to not need sleep with the caveat that noone else knew. Maybe that way I could do all that I want to get done. While I'm figuring this out, you can keep up with what all I have going on by checking out my blog.

An idea is created. Start the research. Gather the assets. Communicate with the people who have the information you want. Write, post, photograph, edit, listen, record. Make it good. Share. Repeat.

I manage several social media channels. It's fun to keep up with what's going on in the world via photos and short messages. I love that we can so easily communicate with with everyone and I aim to do that. If you are the social type follow me on Instagram or Twitter
